Child of God, yes -- if we could all learn to think of each other with hearts filled with kindness, compassion, and understanding -- this world would be a much better place.

Do I believe that WE can make that happen? No. Because evil and hatred are very real, and we can't defeat them by ourselves.

It doesn't mean, though, that we should give up trying. Perhaps each of us can make "our little corner of the world" a little better by treating each other with courtesy and respect. Peace !

I thought of your question, and the answer is no, there would not be peace on earth. Why? Well regarding strangers one meets to assume that they are loved ones, would be often times dangerous, as a persons character could very well be a stalker, a thief, a molester, or a wanted felon. Would you wish to become associated in a loving way with a person of this character? You would not, so there for, you will have not established peace.

You have a good point. People fall in love as strangers, from anywhere. Countries could connect, we could finally have peace.

That's a very nice and yet improbable thought. If only it were that easy. Think about our criminals now, half of them don't even care about their own families let alone strangers. Some people don't know how to care about other people.

No, because when ppl starting giving their hearts out someone will start take advantage. That's why no one wants to do anything now because some ppl who are less fortunate don't know how to except what they are given. At that is a shame.

My mother always warned me about strangers. Sorry, but too many people are strange ones.

I think so, if we treated and cared about each other as a loved one, then yes, things would be much quieter. :0) That's a pleasant thought.
