lol...well it is a movie ya know...but in real life I would run like a chicken,wouldnt you?I mean duh people...if its gonna kill ya why go to it? right? =)

You do realize it's a movie right. And in horror, you need suspense, not necessarily death all the time, but definitely the notion of it. If it wasn't for the b-list acting, horror would be fun to watch.

It comes from watching too much Scooby-Doo. The leader of the gang always says something to the effect of, "Look at that! A ghost just went into that dark cave! Lets split up and investigate!"

because that is what the whole movie is all about... finding what's behind the dark door and how the people got killed.

It's because the characters don't know they are in a horror movie and they don't quite expect those kind of things to happen. They think that it couldn't happen to them something like that

yeah I know they are sooooooo easy to kill lol !!!
Well actually being in my house and hearing a weard noise I would actually go see because I have kids and would want to know what is going on and would not imagine there would be a JASON or FREDDY waithing for me there lol !!
But if I would be alone in a place I don't know , NO WAY, I would run as fast as I can lol !

.....Plus...it's human nature...at least for a guy. I couldn't stand it wondering what's going on...especially in my own home, so I would definitely look. A women, however, might have a man check it out for her instead. Beside being brave, men are also pretty dumb.

yeah i always found that kinda weird if i were them i would leave the freaky noises alone, but maybe there trying to be brave or something.
