a.e.t. means after extra time. like saturday. argentina- mexico finished 1-1. but one team should qualify.if the score is equal after 90 minutes we play 30 minutes of extra-time. if the equality persist, the next thing we do is penalty.

after the normal 90mins is played a little bit of time can be added on at the end due to some players wasting time. this is known as extra added on time.
Though some matches can end in a draw others can't for example, the knock-out stages at the world cup. (e.g Argentina v Mexico) in these matches there must be a winner after 90mins is played an extra 1/2 hour of play is added on, this is known as Extra Time. and A.E.T (After Extra Time) the scores are taken again, if there are no winners then its penalties.

I believe e.t means extra-time in soccer. When a game ends in a tie the two teams now play in "extra time". If it is still tied after e.t then they go to penalties.
