The English Pope was Nicholas Breakspear: Pope Adrian IV, elected in 1154, to 1159. As for the rest of the question... I'll have to think!

Not trure, Andyingreece - there has been an English pope. Don't have his name to hand (you could easily Google it), but it was sometime in the middle-ages. Obviously before the reformation of the Church of England.
But there has been an English pope, just not for many hundreds of years.
