Firstly, it is important to understand, that we all start puberty at slightly different times, and for some, raging hormones can be quite troublesome. Their surroundings can also influence their opinions on the matter. Children that are comfortable with their sexuality often don't need to try to find out more too early either. But in this day, where they are also freely exposed to same sex relationships, come accross porno mags and condoms thrown on the streets etc, life is not so clear and easy to younger people, so they also have heightened curiosity. I feel that sex education should really begin at a very young age, through childrens books when the yuks and ews don't come up, and then be reinforced through education at school regularly, perhaps with pre printed questions and answers. Children that mature earlier, need help managing their feelings. If they did, there may be less teenage pregnancies. To most people, the initial reaction may be one of disgust, but it shouldn't be. This is just one example of a child needing guidance.

It's actually dangerous. At 11 or even in the teens you aren't really ready to have sex. Your virginity, if you still have it, is such a precious gift you can reserve for just that special someone and the percentages are so high that the people you know during your childhood (and you are technically still a child) will not be the people you go with when you are older so you will have ruined your life early by experimenting with sex. Not to mention the risk of pregnancy and disease that is out there. Be 11 and enjoy the things that most 11 year olds do. If you are an adult then seek help for it's not natural for any adult, no matter if only 18 or 17 to think about sex with anyone underage. Freaky maybe but danerous definitly.

it is illegal and freaky and bad and wrong for 11 year olds to even think about having sex. where do they get these ideas from in the first place. It may turn out to be a horrible experience and can scar the childs mind forever.

I don't think the 11 year old would actually mean, if he really wanna have sex with another kid. Kids these days are so confused about sex thanks to the media, and of course peer pressure can make a child confirm to unneccessary pressure.
Let a child be a child while they can so they can have something precious to look back onto. That's my answer.

At 11, you are physically too young, and emotionally immature to deal with a sexual relationship.
