Actually, the correct answer is that no one is buried in Grant's Tomb. Grant and his wife are entombed there, not buried.

There were questions about this in the late 1960s.
Now it is called Grant Memorial to be in keeping with Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. At least they haven't moved it to D.C.
