What is the absolute cheapest way to get to Ireland?

Aer Lingus specials and go in the off season - October through April. Go to aerlingus.com and look for specials. While in Ireland stay at B&Bs. If you are a student Youth Hostels are the WAY to go. You can stay for a night for about $20. B&Bs are NOT the fancy, romantic places that they are in the states. They are usually a bedroom in a middle class private home. "Ensuite" means you get your own bathroom. A shamrock posted out in front of the house means that the Irish Travel Bureau has approved of the house.

STA travel has good deals for students. Put an airfare alert on travelocity. I really like the courier idea but have never done that. I've heard about companion travel, too. May be worth it to put a one-line ad in a major newspaper? Good luck!

Sign up to be a courier-then take a trip to Ireland. A lot of international business is there-so, it's not impossible to get there-
free!
Just deliver the package or letter you've been given to deliver.

Swim.

Depending on where your flying from. If you are in the EU, use Ryanair or Aer Lingus

If your coming from america, use Aer Lingus, Delta or Continental. Try book as early as possible, flights should be cheaper, and look at different days you can fly, e.g Wednesday would be cheaper than Saturday

Aer Lingus will be cheaper than any other airline from the states.

The B&Bs are by and large exactly as described above but they are relatively cheap and are hard to beat for the price considering breakfast is usually included.
