My ex and i have a one year old daughter together... he has never really shown alot of interest in being around her... we are both in different cities. so he would come up to see her once every three weeks. then after she turned one back in april he hasn't come back to see her. But now he wants to know when he can pick her up on a friday and take her back to miami where he lives and bring her back on a sunday...mind you that he never woke up for a night feeding...he never bathed her, and not to mention that he has 2 american bulldogs in his house who they allowed to be IN the house all the time...the male dog killed another dog he had and the female dog is extremely hyper active.. my question is does he have the right to have her for the entire weekend especially when his family who he lives with are always drinking on the weekends?

No he has no rights to her unless he takes you to court and there is a custody agreement filed with the court if i were you i would not let her go cause you never know what might happen to her. if he keeps asking when can he take her for a weekend tell him when he gets the money to take you to court and you make sure you can get a good lawyer and tell them what you have told us and i doubt he will ever get unsupervised visits with her.

She is too young. Also he cannot take her across state lines without your permission. That is a legal part of custody. Unless it is written in the divorce papers.

Not if there isn't anything legally signed or given to you by court papers stating that fact. Otherwise you have full custody. He can't do anything.

No. Go to court. Does he pay child support? Don't let him have her. It's not safe.
