Then this morning I started bleeding. Is it possible for two tests to show up positive and be wrong?

To answer your questions...it is very faint bleeding. I was one week late for my period.

A line is a line is a line is a line. This means, that as long as you get 2 lines of the same color on your test, you are Pregnant!! First off...you need to make sure that the lines that you seen were not just evaporation lines. Evaporation lines are very common on the cheaper at home pregnancy tests. When you use an at home pregnancy test, the dye in the test is usually blue or pink. When you test and if two lines show up, BOTH lines need to be the same color as the dye in the test. Now, note that I said 'color' NOT 'shade'. For instance, if your test uses pink dye, then BOTH lines need to be pink, same thing for a blue dye test. If one line is a greyish color, or almost invisible, like a watermark, that is called an evaporation line and is NOT a positive test! Evaporation line are VERY common on the cheaper tests. Take a look at think link, it will explain more about evaporation lines......http://www.peeonastick.com/falsepos.html...

As for the bleeding, Spotting is totally normal in early pregnancy! When you need to be concerned, is when the spotting turns into heavy bleeding and you have bad cramping. Otherwise, there is no need to worry!

I just experienced EXACTLY the same thing. I was one week late, took two tests & both were positive. The same day, I began bleeding...mostly faint, but at times a little heavier. It lasted for about the same length of time that a period would have lasted and I also had cramps. But, I made an appointment with my OB/GYN and found out that I was pregnant. He monitored me closely for a few weeks. I am now 9 weeks along and everything is just fine. Don't jump to any conclusions...see your doctor. Good luck!

It is possible to bleed in the early stages of pregnancy, and tests can be wrong. You need to go the doc for a proper answer.

It's possible to have 2 tests be wrong, particularly if you dont follow the directions EXACTLY...it is also possible to have a period and still be pregnant. I would take another test and be sure to be very careful about the directions

For some women the tests are very inacurate.. My wife took three tests one eveing and got a Positive, a Negative, and a No answer (the control didn't even turn blue)..

Don't panic, make an appt with your ob/gyn.

Not necessarily wrong, but you may be experiencing a miscarriage. Also, my friend continued to have something similar to a period the entire time she was pregnant. Best bet: Go see your doctor.

I had the same thing happen to me.....I went to the doctor and he said that it was normal, and it was around the time that I would've gotten my period....I wouldn't worry unless you are having pain or the bleeding gets heavier....nonetheless, call your doctor anyway!

I know two people who were both 4 months pregnant before they even knew it because they continued their periods normally. Everyone's different and you should check it out with your doctor asap to be sure.
