I'm 14 years old and im about 5'5 - 5'6.i grew about 7 inches at the age of 13 till now..and my parents are about 5'3 and 5'0...also my grandpa and my uncles are about 6'1...i want to grow at least 2-3 inches taller...but i dont know how..i drink a lot of milk every day...and sleep a lot...is there any possible chance of me growing? even an inch?

There is a possiblity you'll grow taller. My son is over 6' tall, and his dad and I are no where near that height.

Science tells us that a person can continue to grow until 18. What you are doing now - drinking lots of milk and sleeping - can only add to your weight and body mass. Playing basketball may help you add some tangible inches to your height. Give it a try. You still have a long height to hit!

theres always the chance that ull groww as tall or taller than ur grnadfather . not al lthe time do schildren get every gene from the parents, my friendis a red head and he hasnt ahd a red head inhis family for 3 generations so ul prob grow more, u stil have some 6 years to grow

No,it is because of the genes from your parents and if your parents is short then the chance of you growing taller is very less since the generation from generation.

both my parents are 5'5 and I'm 6 foot tall but both of my grandfathers were over 6 feet tall.
You are at the age where you are growing.It's possible you can grow more taller

You are still young. You can still grow taller. Try to play basketball and with that you will be stretched lengthwise and not crosswise. Do eat a balanced diet.

You should grow more but perhaps not by as much as you would like. Some exercises improve posture, but none will actually make you grow taller.

You have a better chance of being taller if you have good eating habits and if you grow up in warmer climates.

Drink milk, eat well, your growth will take care of itself. Don't worry so much about growing taller.

you might grow a little bit taller over the next few years. don't stress out over it, u sound like ur height is fine, most the guys at my high school, in ninth grade are something like that height.
