That time is EVERY day, or I end up with a really nasty headache.

I usually get up between 5.30 and 6 am, eventhough I only start work at 8.30 am. My body has its own alarm system that is triggered during these times, no matter how early or how late I go to bed the night before. I have no complaints, really, since I am a morning person and am more alert during this time, even the wee hours.

A lot can be done when the more sane of us are still asleep. :) Jogging at this hour is so peaceful and exhilirating at the same time since I can actually hear the crickets and other insects. The air is so much cooler and fresher, and the people I meet seem to be friendlier, or maybe it's just me? It gets light here only around 7 am and probably what was a scowl I mistook for a smile? :)

Alarm goes off at 5; stay in bed and snuggle with the cat until 5:15, then get up.
Useful tip - set the alarm clock for the time to read 15 minutes early; then, when you oversleep, look at the clock, and go, "Oh, &^%$!", and start rushing around like a mad thing, you have an extra quarter of an hour's grace.

Ever heard about people who complain that the night's too long, that's me! Ever since days got longer here (Summer time France), I can't seem to sleep past 5:00 am. I Wake up at least twice each night to see if it is wakey wakey time yet because I'm tired of sleeping ;-)
