god tell me about it!
just say something like
"look, i have no problem with you being with us, its just you sometimes get a little annoying and if i'm to be honest, its really bugging me, so could you give us a bit a space please"
this is a firm yet polite comment that should hopefully work!

tell her what shes doing that gets on your nerves. maybe this will help her to understand what isnt liked about her and she will change. Dont just shut her out. how would that make you feel? Just like a new job, were all a Newbie at the start, so except her. Maybe you two could become the best of friends.

maybe you should get to know the person first.
You are fine, you are with a group of friends who you know and comfortable with. You already know how to act with your friends. Maybe the person who is asking to join with you is just wanting friends and is trying too hard or don't know yet how to act. The person is new and probably very nervous maybe doesn't know what to say much and you are being to quick to judge without knowing who he or she is.
To be so critical like that I think so soon is a bit selfish.

Sometimes being honest doesn't seem to be nice. You know sometimes the truth hurts. Perhaps her personality is over bearing because she only wants to fit in.
Either be honest with her or be her fake friend. It's up to you.
I would rather someone to be honest with me. I may not like it, but it's better than hearing it from someone else.

try to be her friend. it's pretty tough for her too. what would you feel if you were in her shoes. she's trying her best to fit in. make her feel that she fits in. then she'll have confidence.
if you don't wanna try that. be really awful friends like offering to bring a material for a project or something then forget it intentionally. she'll buzz off.

try to be a bit more patient,,it is not fun to be rejected, she is trying to be accpeted and pushing her limit..instead why do not you ask her to go for a coffee and try to be friends..she is not such a monster I am sure..it is suck to be alone out there...I came to Canada when I was 21 on my own, did not know anyone and had only 100 dollars..I was very reserved and appreciated any nice person in my life then..that is how my great friendships were formed.....try your best ...

Politely tell her that when there is a private discussion going on in a group, that she should not intrude. Tell her that you will talk to her when the group discussion is finished.

Do you honestly think you are going to be able to tell her you don't like her and don't want to hang out with her without hurting her feelings? Why weren't you honest to begin with?
