Boring insects probably. Did you have any other indications before all the leaves fell off.

Willows need more water than other trees.

Weeping willows are prone to get cotton root rot. Fine one day and dead the next. Betch that's what killed it. Try a different type of tree and it should do fine.

water too much, too little,bad soil, not enough fertilizer. to much sunlight/not enough. staving roots. to much to list i need more info. if you tell me more about he plant and location i could help you.
