dose anyone know whta i need for a vl 308 in a starter motor?

i am after a gear reduction starter motor for my vl 308 i am wondering how good they r, and what type i sould look out for and if they mount easy?

I believe they had an epicyclic reduction starter as standard but I may be wrong. I would recommend that you go to a local Auto Electrician in your area they should be able to help. Jules, Auto tech and lecturer.
