Yes this is the truth.
Children are nowdays are very rude. They dont know to say sentence without the word f**k in it.
They become like this seein their parents and other elders.
Children are never wrong they are jus a mirror of ourselves
So its the adults in US who have to be blamed for this situation.

One reason may be the fact Americans take advantage of all the labor saving devices out there, adults and children alike. The top priority for some American's is either waking up early enough to make McDonald's breakfast, or doing a job with the least amount of effort possible. Some kids are learning how to manipulate their parents, and it is beginning to happen at earlier ages (i.e. throwing a temper tantrum in a supermarket in order to get ice cream or cookies.) I know what you are saying, and I am referring to only those lazy, apathetic people. People just don't care, or, they only care about theirselves. It's very sad.
Also, parents do not really stress learning about their culture and past peoples. Parents have become MUCH MUCH MUCH less strict! I know that some of my friends use language worse than that of a sailor, and although it is rare for me to use such words, I know that I learned "curse words" from my parents. If a child sees a parent flip out and scream and cuss and/or throw stuff around, the child believes it is okay to do the same. I think if there were more strictness from the get-go, children would act much better, and you know, these children are our future.
(This is coming from a teenager, so I don't believe my writing is all too constructive, sorry.)
And then there are people who say that Christianity is the key, they are wrong too. In no way am I saying that it is wrong to believe, I'm just saying not everybody sees eye to eye. Different types of people deal with this in different ways, whether it be to accept other cultures, or beat up a person who believes differently. There is a lot of tension between religions, cultures, and just people in general, so others may see all of that happening and just stop caring.

My own theory is that the public schools are largely to blame, ever since they were taken over by the teachers' union. It has put a totally different flavor into the public schools. For one thing, a union is, by its nature, an impolite thing. You go out on strike, you stand around and shout, you wave signs in people's faces and give them a hard time if they want to enter a building you want to keep them from entering, etc.
Secondly, it put them too much hand-in-glove with all the rest of the bureaucracy, and the power trippers in Washington, etc. Kids learn that power is what matters, not civilization. The difference can be tragic. And the kids learn to have power over their parents, so that the parents do not enforce good manners. Actually, we now have one whole generation raised by parents who were themselves the victims of the school takeover; it's gone on that long.

It's not the kids who changes, its the parents. I don't know about you, but when I was little, I didn't get put in time out, my dad took time out to beat my ***. Now, society doesn't accept spanking or even making the children take responsibility for their actions. If a child makes bad grades in school, its the teacher's fault for not doing their job. If a child gets caught doing something illegal, they're just acting out. If a child has sex at an early age, "kids are just growing up faster". My sister was so close to failing out of school this year, i think her teacher passed her even though she didn't have the grades. Did my parents make her come home and study and do her homework every night? Or did they let her go play with her friends and wait until 9 at night to ask her if she had any homework? If she was too "sick" to go to school, did she have to stay home all day in bed? no. when her friends came home from school, she was all better. When I was little, my dad sent me to school with stomach virus and told me if I kept getting sick to call my mom to come get me. My sister "coughs" and she stays home. Parents now are too busy to properly raise kids. I'm not saying spanking is the proper way to raise kids, but there has to be boundaries. And when kids cross them, there should be punishment. It's not just average middle class people. It's every class and social standing.

Its simple, a whole generation of people have been led to beleive that disipline demoralizes a child to the point that they become scarred as adults,( utter hogwash). This has led to a whole group of generations that think they can't swat a child,(not beat) swat. That in turn has led to the children figureing out that they can get away with anything by just yelling"your hurting me", they have no understanding that there are consequences for your behavior, and they think when they get out of school that instead of paying there dues and earning respect and advancement, they should start out in the high paying jobs.

You know what? I'm not American so that I'm not standing up, but I think it's a society thing. I see that all the time no matter where in the world it is.
To be honest, I think people are too busy running around trying to get everything done that they just don't have time to care about strangers. It's not right, but that's how people justify it.

I'm surprised you could find any middle class Americans left. Gas prices being what they are and the middle class propensity for buying the biggest SUV they can find the middle class should be disappearing completely soon. Then you won't have to worry about it anymore because it will just be us lower class slobs that act that way.

Without opening a religious argument, I think we all have to agree that the 10 Commandments are valid rules by which to live.
Even if one does not embrace Christianity, these are worth teaching. Every country in the world has millions of laws on their books in an attemot to enforce these 10 laws.
Governments, in their stupidity, and grasp for power, believe these laws impune on our freedom, and they can enact better ones.
Do you not think that adherence to these 10 rules would answer your questions? And, not just for Americans.

I feel you on this.
I see it all the time. Those are the parents who believe in spare the rod and your child will be perfect. The kids have no fear and no respect for their parents because they refuse to punish then properly. Also those are the kids where the parents are hardly at home and have no role models other than TV and the morons at school.

americans even adults are not just ignorant. they grew up thinking they are always superior among other races.
the thought of being superior always drives them that they are always right.
i often get discrimination from americans but you know what they are pathetic. they come and shout at me to get help, to think they need help. silly people only do that.
i believe it will never change unless these american culture will change and make family as the center of their life and not economics.
