i hav several options for a sleeeeeep.
1.fantacise bout opp sex...especially strippin dem in the dream
2.masturbat while fantacising
3.hav hot/warm milk b4 sleep
4.wash ur hands n legs b4 goin to bed
5.if nothin works den count on sheeps(its old n 4 me it never worked)
6.meditate(its boring but it really helps
7.lie down on the bed ....in straight posture on ur back..close ur eyes n den start concentrating on each body part startin from toe..gradually go up n up....n don move a bit..by the time u reach ur neck or so u mite fall asleep(its equal to meditation)
8.in an AC room grab a rug n sleep on ur stomach, wid ur hands n legs spread apart..
9.listen to music
10.if u don like studying den get a txt buk n read it ...mostly ur skool or collage buks..read it n u will surely fall asleep(only if u find readin boring)..

I'm lucky in a way because I study or draw on the computer when I can't sleep, but then half the time it's what wakes me up - to do the drawing. I just go with the flow of it but am sure to catch up with my sleep when ever I can so not tire me too much
My insomnia is a long term thing and I accept it. As a child my sleeping pattern wasn't good then it remained broken by having children and following their routine and then my work but there is usually a cause to it and we can train ourselves to sleep better, I just choose to follow the path I am now.

It's 745 here and I still am not asleep, but I have an idea. Sit in the corner of a room for a while, facing out. Then, just start thinking of things, anything. Like what you are going to do that day or make up a short story, works well if you have a creative imagination. Make sure you are sitting. After a while, you will be tired, just lay down, and.

Stay awake for a full 72 hours, minimum. You'll pass out the second you get into bed. Although, be careful, this changes your behavior slightly, the last day and you might start seeing and hearing things that aren't really there, or at least I did. Also, clear your schedule for the whole day after the night you finally let the zzz's catch you, you won't be going anywhere for a while, except for dreamland.

Man, I have that all the time. Watching something boring on TV usually helps me (I'm sorry to say this but soccer / football does the trick) or I try to read a book.
Although, I couldn't sleep last night AT ALL so I don't know if I'm the right person to answer you...

We tend to sleep cause our body and mind needs rest, I guess you don't get enough physical activity the whole day, try getting away from the computer and go for a walk in te mornings, do some exercise and try to channelise your mind on positive thoughts

Take some sleeping pills like 1 tablet or 2, they help you get some rest if you can't sleep they make you tired.

I masturbate and it works.
I overdosed on NO-DOZE for work because I didn't get any sleep before I got there.

You have to learn every muscle in ur body & where they R . Then when you want to sleep start @ the top of ur head & think of each muscle as a rubberbands stretch out tight. Make each muscle relax & go limp, feel the rubber band loosen ( each muscle) starting with the head & workin down to ur feet, goin over every muscle in ur body. Then when ur hole body is relaxed you may drift off to sleep. if not ur body will feel totaly relaxed.
