You were wrong to take 2, but that's not really a problem, it is almost impossible to overdose on a contraceptive pill. It hasn't helped you at all though.
I have missed one day before and nothing has happened despite having intercourse at the time.
Your chances of being pregnant are very low, as if you take the pill regularly, it builds up, and missing one day is very low risk. It can take up to a year after coming off the pill to get pregnant!!
I wouldn't worry too much, but if your period is at all late, do a test ASAP.
Good luck, and try not to worry!
ADDITIONAL:
Just read some of the other answers! Not sure which pill it is you and they are taking, but it says specifically on mine NOT to take an extra pill the next day to make up for missing one!!!

If it is a long time that you are taking pills and it was about a week after your period, the chance is very low.
By the way in a case of emergency,it is said to take 4 Low dose or 2 high dose twice the day after. Then you will have a new period. But I did not examine it myself.

that's what you are supposed to do. Chances are EXTREMELY slim that you are pregnant...the pill isn't a daily type of protection, it layers in your bloodstream, so one missed day does not leave you unprotected for that day...however, if you miss more than 2 or 3 pills per month, you should probably use a back up method to be safe.

Don't worry, I have done this a couple of times before and I was okay. As long as you took two to make up you should be fine. You should be very careful not to miss another one in this pack though.

usually you are supposed to make-up the pill you missed and their is a time period. I believe if you have been taking them for some time that missing one is not the problem, it takes a few days for your system to be emptied of the estrogen or whatever it is.

You did the right thing on doubling up. The possibility of you being pregnant is extremely slim. Good luck.

if you forgot to take one, you just take two the next day like you did. Also, you should be okay because you would need more then one day to return to a "normal" ovulation cycle.
