Yeah, that's why I don't want to visit. Rain is so depressing day after day. Think I'll stay in the states. It's beautiful where I am today.

I know what you mean I'm sitting here and the temperature outside is 37deg C. very little wind and I have the air-conditioner on. its hell.

Actually it could be worse in Britain The rain and bad weather is due to Atlantic currents bringing cold winds etc. the gulf stream brings warmer weather and you get rain. but no gulf stream and Britain would be like Moscow with out the summer. The bad news the gulf stream is slowing down. Thank the Americans

Yeah, it's terrible isn't it. Can't see a cloud in the sky, and I've had to spend most of the day in a swimming pool just to keep cool. I think it's know as a temprate climate, due to location on the globe. Perhaps if we could somehow tow the British Isles SW about 1000 miles, we'd be able to get a bit more sun all year round.

It's quite nice in Manchester at the moment. Not very warm but pleasant. The sun is trying to come out as well. I don't like the rain either but it could be a lot worse. Cheer up and think about how lucious our land is. Rain's only a bit of water.

Awwww come on... we've had some gorgeous weather! Must admit the rain is getting to me a bit too now. I think one of the main reasons for our grotty weather is because we are an island and we get all the rain in from the surrounding sea :-( At least it's not minus 10!

Where the hell are you? We've just had almost a month of high temperatures in the South East!! XD

It always turns chilly at the beginning of July - I should know as that's when my birthday is. Oh and it always rains during Wimbledon! XD

At least we don't have hurricanes, serious tornadoes, earthquakes.... Come on - stop whinging.

By August the heatwave will be back I 'spect.

Firstly why bother asking this question on here? Everyone knows that the weather is like it is in England because of its location in the World.

Consider yourself lucky that you don't live in a place that has extreme conditions, drought for example.

Anyway the weather has been great for the last couple of weeks!

Thank goodness! The rain has lowered the pollen count so today is the first time in about a month I haven't had itchy watery eyas and itchy runny nose! Yippee!
