Cocaine alters your brains chemistry.
The chemistry in the brain is what makes you happy or depressed or what ever you are feeling. Long term coke use can really mess up your chemisrty very badly. It can take years to repair itself. Or you may need to be medicated to make up for the problems
Addiction is also part of this process.
Coke is very addicting becasue of how you feel on it. It takes more and more of the drug to get the same feeling from it.
Then when you try to stop your body craves that feel again.
It can be broken but it takes a huge amount of will power and desire to quit.
If you are trying to break a habit get help. It is really worth it.

Cocaine uses up all of the dopamine in your brain which is the chemical that "makes you happy". The dopamine receptors in your brain are burnt out after one does cocaine for long enough and if you have no dopamine, then you get really depressed. This is the reason cocaine is so addicting. You have to do more and more - not to feel good, but just to keep from getting depressed because of dopamine burn out. Please stop the coke so you can get back to normal.
