Brazil and Argentina are probably the best teams at the moment, but a South American side has only won the World Cup in Europe once (Brazil in Sweden in 1958).
The host nation used to have a great advanatage (the home side has won five out of the last ten World Cups). But now so many thousands of fans travel to support their team, I don't think it is so important. The German side also is not as great as previous years.
Of the European teams, England are probably best on paper, but football is played on grass.

Not all the African teams are out. Ghana are still there and playing against Brazil next.
Possible upset on the cards. Full of confidence Ghana could well knock out Brazil who have yet to fire on full cylinders !!

ghana are still in but play brazil so they will be out. if we beat potugal then we will play brazil in the semis so we will be out. brazil v germany in the final with a brazillian win but c`mon england!!
