here my problem:(actually my buddy prob)
He was installed a new game(Dvd game) into his pc..he use Nvidia graphic card..during the installation it goes well..and about 50 % of the installation suddenly the pc restarted automatically..
after it restarted,it goes as usual ---->post screen(memory check)..and suddenly the screen goes blank..black screen..before the windows logo loading appears..
somehow..the fan is running,monitor is in good power..and nothing beep sound heard..
what is that problem?plzz plzzzzz plzzzzzzzz cry.gif
P/s:he try go to safe mode..but it cant..he try to unplug the GPU,.but it doesnt work also

Software you are try to INSTALL might not be compatible with your system. Did you check before you brought it. Then again it could be your Graphic card or the software it self could be faulty.

Install old video card. See if computer will boot to safe or standard VGA mode. If it does boot, check to see if your card is DirectX9.0 compatible or DirectX 10. If it is directX 9 and he already has DirectX 10 he is screwed. It will not work.
Cards are backward compatible but not the other way around.
Also check to make sure the memory is seated well and all connections are good. Alot of desktop problems are due to bad conections either with a cable, card or memory.

in case you won't be able to get into bios then you definately would ought to purchase a clean motherboard, an same befell to my buddy the different day, i'm suspicious his PSU couldn't take the load, yet we replaced his motherboard & all is favourite lower back now.

sounds like he needs to get a virus check or reload windows.
