Supplementing the dishes said by hai, poori or puri is also served in substitution or addition of rice. Serving vada in thali is not common.
And thali is generally unlimited meal one can have per head without sharing.

Rice and rasam......without spoon or fork...so that you have to eat it in the most unpleasant way.
