That is a possibility, if you take Earth to be a cell and the people as bacteria or viruses, then we would be part of the Giants Body and maybe part of the finger nails! Hope he doesn't bite them off to the quick!

You are right to question the significance of the Planet in the universe anyway. For all we know Earth is a planet seeded by aliens for a source of food. Give them a few more years and they will be back to harvest.

It's possible... if possiblity existed (it doesn;t due to cause and affect). So, we just don;t know. For now, I'd rather think we aren't.
