When I was in the UK it rained nearly every day for 5 weeks, so I suppose you would have to go to work or you would never get paid. December or not.

Shocker it's raining there. I would imagine the people would still go to work, because to them a day without rain is like a pub without brews.

Yes people go to work in the rain. The Brits are well known for their bad weather and their ability to weather it rather well.

Gosh! The weather is bad and you cant really expect it to be rainless even in the summer. I still remember it rains from spring - autumn. Snow even pouring down during February. The people have bad mood just because of the weather. Get use to it..People still have to eat, so have to go to work.

I would think they would,we do here...But i'm having a hard time imagining UK....Never been there,so it's hard to imagining....

Why want an umbrella? i want to experience the excitement of the moist drops on my epidermis and be one with it. rather of listening to the pitter patter on my umbrella, i want to experience it. Barish mein bheegne ka maza hi kuch aur hai. =)
