There are MANY kinds of scientists: physicists, chemists, biologists, geologists, astronomers, etc...
I suspect that you want to ask something different... could you be more specific? You have asked this question twice in the same way, so you're getting the same answers over and over.

Biologists, geologist etc are not science, neither is behavioral science or medical science. none of these is scientific at all in the way they are carried out as a discipline. Chemists are kind of border line.
Well I've had my rant but I think what you are after is the most natural distinction:
* Theoreticians
* & Experimentalists
What they both do is kinda obvious from the names given so I won't elaborate.
There are many jokes that might be made about the two different kinds (which is what your questions sounds more like) but I won't go into them as I'm just not funny right now due to being sleepy and just trying to fill in time until the Australia Italy match comes on.
