A covenant is a cause and effect agreement. Example--if you enter into a covenant with diety. You covenant that you will not beat your wife and diety will allow you to prosper for fifty years if diety so desires. The covenant is binding on the human side but only binding on diety to the degree that diety desires. Sort of like the golden rule; "He Who Has The Gold Makes The Rules">

A covenant is a promise to; -
a) give,
b)bequeath as in leave, or
c)seal to approve.
A rather beautiful one exists in the Bible, after Noah's flood and the ark reaching its resting place.(Top of mount Arrarat in Turkey.) God made Noah a promise, a promise of peace. Representing that peace was a rainbow. The rainbow was the seal.
It's a real shame man constantly messes up.

It's a binding agreement between two or more parties. I've heard that it's not as binding as a pact, but I'm not sure there is a real difference.
As a Christian, I believe I am in a covenant relationship with God that He initiated. In Jesus, He offered His life for my life, and now I daily offer my life for His.

Covenant is a bond with God- something he put forth on the earth to keep us in closer contact with him. Marriage, communion, reconcilliation. I'm a newer Catholic!

there is a christian church that uses "covenant" as a word to describe a promise or a pact you take up with God. like a promise by both sides of the deal, both sides have to do their part to keep the promise intact.

Yes , its a bit risky now to downgrade by trying to remove IE7. They share files or overlays some files on IE6 when you upgrade so you will have to use the ADD/Remove program option in your control panel to remove IE7.
Then go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai... and download and install IE 6.0 again.
