Try taking some real slow deep breathes, in through the nose out through the mouth.

Do about ten of these.

Exhale the tenth and then hold breath.

Count off ten seconds.

Repeat.

Normally works for me.

Have a look through this link.

Hicups are caused when something happens involving your diaphram (hey I'm no doctor) but I have tried and tested holding your breath, as this is meant to "reset" your breathing, and stop the hicups. It works for me.
Good luck

Take a deep breath and hold it in. At the same time, close your eyes and block your ears. Hold this position as long as you can before letting your breath out really slowly. Works 99% of the time. Good luck.

Drink a cup of water or breath in a bag of plastic for not more than 30 seconds. If not getting better , go to nearer clinic.

Drink some warm water and sit down in the same position you have when you knot the ties to your shoes, pressing with your knees on the stomach

sorry to sound geeky but hiccups are caused by unnatural contracting of the diaphragm. so the more u panic the shorter breaths u take. sit down ryt now and breathe calmly and deeply. do it for few minutes. ur hiccups will stop.

Shock normally works best; either watch a scary movie that you haven;t seen beofre, or tell somebody to shock you during the day - though it may not work as you will be expecting it.
