It depends on how you identify "I." I had a fun time thinking about this one for a while... but like all questions in philosophy, there's no right answer.. otherwise it wouldn't be philosophy anymore!
So I decided back in philosophy class that "I" am my brain and wrote a whole big paper explaining why that is so. Therefore, I would still be me, because I am my brain. A few years later, I no longer believe this is true. I am not my brain. I can't really explain what "I" am anymore. I am not something physical.

Anyways, the answer to your question is yes. I will always be me. Nothing can change that.

Fundamentally, your mind would be the same. But not for long, because it would have to adapt to the change in environment. The more different the new body, the more the mind would need to adapt. Imagine being placed in a body of the opposite gender. Or having been disabled and placed inside an able body. Your brain would first have to reprogramme itself because it has neural networks related to the body it used to inhabit. If you were suddenly in a more muscular body, you might be surprised by the force you used when picking things up. If you were a heterosexual woman whose brain was transplanted inside a male, you would still have female hormones produced in the brain, and would probably still be attracted to men.
To illustrate the point that your mind is partially a result of the environmental effects of the body you inhabit ask yourself the following question. Would Woody Allen have the same mind if he'd been born with the physique of Arnold Schwarzenegger?

brain transplants are impossible, and more than likely, will never be possible. This is like one of those "if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" type questions. Ugh...you know you lost 5 points asking this, right?

Is the brain consciousness? No, the brain is just another organ or instrument used for the expression of *yourself*.

Who are you then? A unit of consciousness?

YES. I am I.
Brain is an organ of body .Heart and liver and kidneys are
also transplanted. That change is a change of organs, not me.
I live in the body, but I am not the body,
like a prisoner lives in the prison, but he is not the prison,
like a jailor lives in the jail, but he is not the jail,
so we live in the bodies, but we are temporary residents/
tenants/licencees living in them,for a few decades,
but WE are NOT bodies!
