Is Kids entertainment becoming too commercialized...or are we to blame for our own stupidity 'cause we're too lazy to take care of our kids? As if we aint stupid enough as parents, then we set them up to become zombies of shows like Barney, the Teletubbies and Boohbah...

Boobah is one creepy show. What's up with that farty sound when they pop out of their pods? And why do they look like a scrotum? And what's that shooting out of the top of their heads? Creepy.

BoohBah is a take of on the fantastic successful Telletubbies

They tried to "improve" it and it flopped. Telletubbie made(s) millions in selling the brand name toys and accessories.

Seems like they hired someone that was very doped out to design and promote the Boohbah stuff, it flunks

I've never seen the show, but I've seen the toys, and they're creepy. Some shows are cute for kids though and help them learn. For instance, when I was little I watched Sesame Street and learned some Spanish and there were lots of learning opportunities with number and letters and whatnot. Same with Dora the Explorer now, it helps kids to learn a bit of another language while they're still young enough to absorb it.

I think letting little kids just sit in front of the television for hours and hours is quite irresponsible.

It's fine to let kids watch perhaps a half an hour to an hour of television a day. But parents really should be the kids source of education too. Parents should spend more time with their children, parents should be helping to teach their children the alphabet and numbers. NOT TELEVISION.

That show is not appropriate for any human being, children included. It's just not...normal. Being a Caregiver for young children, I absolutely abhor 'dumbed down' children's programming. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood and Sesame Street are the only shows I'll ever approve of. Turn off the t.v. and play with your kids! Put them on a schedule too, whil you're at it.

Yah! I totally agree. Parents just set their kida in front of the t.v to watch those shows because the kids think they are cool. but what do they know. They just do it because the kids get distracted when they watch t.v so the parents don't have to take care of them.

What exactly is a Boobah. That hideous thing reminds me of Cousin It from The Addams Family.

Wtf is Boohbah??
Did they let the freakish monkey mutants out of their cages again?
I thought we had an understanding after the teletubby incident.
Apparently not.
