Behind the glass at the 'City Zoo' -friend. In your house -foe. Even if you have a glass tank to keep a pet snake in, a snake is always trying to escape. And this is the thing - You can stand next to the tank and watch the snake all day and it won't move. So you think; the whole time the snake is thinking, "As soon as this human leaves this room I'm gonna make a break for it! I can feel an opening that air is flowing through; so, I'll just play sleep for awhile and then it's on!" As soon as a snake is out in the open it can and wiil become a formidibal enemy. Get out and away from the house! Call animal control. Move. -don't play with fire.

There's a old wise tale. It say that a woman found a sick snake on the side of the road. She took the snake home and healed it back to good health. When the snake felt better he bit her. She ask him why did you bite me? I healed you back to good health. He turned around and said to her, b**ch you knew I was a snake before you brought me to your house.

Now I'm asking you to ask yourself that question. friend or foe

That depends on your point of view. Most people will identify them as foes. But, on 'Nature'al point of view, no species can be your foe. Each has its own role and keeps the world alive. So, I'd identify them as friend.
