There are many different theories on the Kennedy assassination. The "official" story of Lee Harvery Oswald acting alone, most people don't believe that, especially since he allegedy used an World War II era Italian made rifle, with that along with the fact that he is not a great shot, that comination made him unlikely to act alone. Other theories include Fidel Castro, the FBI, the CIA, Lyndon Johnson, and even the Mafia all being behind Kennedy's assassination. The only one that will have an actual benif to it, is if Johnson was behind it, if Kennedy is dead, Johnson will become president. So, for this reason, I believe that Johnson was behind Kennedy's assassination.

No, Lyndon Johnson was a very powerful man, he didn't need to assassinate JFK to become President. Had JFK lived in all likely hood LBJ would have been the nominee in1968. Also LBJ and Governor Conally were good friends asking LBJ to kill his President and his good friend is quite a stretch.
I think that J.Edgar Hoover had something to do with it . Not so much from being an active participant ( although he had no love for Bobby Kennedy who was his boss) but from a withholding vital information at a vital time.perspective
I was 10 when JFK died- the news hit like a 2x4 across the ribs.
I was 32 when I walked through the assassination site for the first time. I had read many of the books and was familiar with the most of the theories.
But one thought hit me like another 2x4 across the ribs "How could he miss?
Oswald had the perfect sniper perch. He had weeks to figure out the shot..
Lets see................... Ex -Marine marksman defects to Russia during the height of the Cold War , marries a Russian woman, brings her back to the US ,passes out pro communist pamphlets in non -sympathetic Dallas
gets a job in a high building over looking the Presidents well publicized motorcade route and nobody but nobody bothers to notice? How is that possible ?

To be honest, I truly think so. The two completely HATED each other. Kennedy picked Johnson as his running mate so that he could get Texas.

One notable thing is that Johnson was riding in the car behind Kennedy and actually ducted before the gunshots went off, that is caught on the Zupreder film. That as soon as they rounded that corner and the umbrella man pumped him umbrella 3 times that Johnson hit the floor, a few seconds before the president was shot.

It has never been proven that anyone other than Lee Harvey Oswald was involved in the assassination. New forensic evidence indicates that there was in fact 1 shooter and that the story used as the basis for the film JFK did not analyze the Zapruder film accurately.

If so there is little or no evidence. I must have read 50 books on the subject and although I am convinced it was a right wing conspiracy that involved some elements of the U S intelligence services, I have never read of anything involving LBJ. However it is possible as he certainly benefited and it kind of fitted with his attitude

Excuse me, but Hell yes LBJ was behind the assassination. He was pissed at JFK for banging Angie Dickinson in a broom closet at the time of his inauguration speech, causing LBJ to give an unprepared acceptance speech. Oh yeah, LBJ was a Texan and we can get like that. One Love People.

No, but someone probably was, and it could have been a part of the government or someone that he had failed to keep a bargain with or even someone his father had doublcrossed.
