we have 4th of July parade.
I never see gay people in that. lol

Because being homosexuial is being socially tolarated now and Gays are comming out and showing the world who they are. Being straight has been tolarated and accepted for centuries.(as it should because how else would we be born?)
I guess Straights should be able to have a parade if they wanted to aswell, but I would imagine that would cause some people would get offended.
The only problem I have with it is, is the display of nudity in the parade. If it were any other parade Nudity would not be allowed, and people would be thrown in jail. But because its a gay pride parade, its allowed and encouraged. What does nudity have to do with sexuiality? Can you not have a parade without it? The parade is on television and kids could be watching!

Because straight people are not an oppressed minority. The whole purpose of the Gay Pride parade is to provide a place where people can celebrate who they are in an environment that won't judge them or discriminate against them.

I'm gay and I'll go. There are str8 people who attend Gay Prode events. There are tons of parades that are str8 oriented, Thanksgiving Day, St. Patties, 4th of July, etc.

B/c gay people seem to have more rights than straight people for some reason. Gay people sem to boast being gay. You don't hear of straight people boasting about being straight.

Cause no one would see LUCKY CHARMS and CAPN CRUNCH chasing FRUIT LOOPS and TOOTIE FRUITIES down the street. All they would see is BRAN FLAKES and QUAKER OATS if it was a straight pride parade.

Because if us straight people did, we would offend the Gay people. And that would be wrong.
It is nice to know they can offend us..but we cannot offend them.
