Probably the first Indian to drive in Formula 1. Narain Karthikeyan, came into F1 last year driving for Jordan and is now fourth driver at Williams.

Akbar Ebrahim was the 1st Indian driver in the F3 series. He is currently working for the development of motorsports in India. he has also been the Manager of A1 Team India for the 2005 season.
