The angel Lucifer rebelled against God, and like lightening was cast out of heaven. He then decieved Eve, with Adam standing right there, and got rulership over Earth for a time. He is indeed still Prince of the Power of Air. and he is a very powerful demon. But he is no longer an angel. When Jesus died HE went to Hell and took away Satan's keys and his dominion, because satan killed a sinless person. After Christ's return they will battle, but it will be a lop-sided fight. The Lord Of Glory will prevail and cast Satan into the lake of fire prepared for him and his followers. His binding will usher in a thousand years of peace and sinlessness on earth..

If humans rule the world then yes, so does satan. But if humans do rule the world, then god has some part to play in it too. There is a satan in many human beings, just like there is god in others. Evil is rampant. Destruction goes on. But at the same time, creativity survives. Goodwill exists. Satan does rule part of the world, but God rules others. Happiness and Sadness co-exist, don't they?

No chance, current rulers are even worst than the Satan. There is a story about Job in the Holy Bible. In that first scene we find Satan before God, boasting of his success in the world. God responds by pointing to Job and his godliness and faithfulness. To which Satan replies with insulting and challenging accusation. "He only serves you for what he gets out of it! Sure he's faithful! Why shouldn't he be? Look at all the wealth you have given him!" And to prove Satan wrong, God takes Satan's bet. He gives permission to Satan to afflict Job in any way he chooses, only he must not touch Job himself. It is this that gives rise to Job's troubles. And this is the point. Suffering often comes as a result of an unseen conflict in the spiritual world. In this story you can see that God gives permission to afflict Job, but Satan must not touch Job himself.
Now, we are ruled by our rulers, but they are happy creating in blood sheds.
