This is such a great question, I don't think they do exist though. They're probably just an amalgam of a hundred random faces you see in a day.

I do. I believe that the dream world - or dream WORLDS - are every bit as real as the one we experience when we are awake. I do not have a complete and cogent theory formulated, yet.....but i have long wondered whether the dream worlds are simply alternate realities, and that sleep allows us to cross over into one or a number of them on a regular basis. Have you ever had recurring dreams, or recurring settings in your dreams? Have you ever considered that those places - and the people in them - are real? And that you are only able to visit them for a short time? Maybe dreaming is seeing the world through the eyes of an alternate version of you, in an alternate reality? And you can only do that when you sleep, and release your "conscious" mind?

Anyway, think about that the next time you wake up. You might just have a new perspective on dreaming.

They may be faces that you may have seen only very briefly and don't remember them by any long term interactions. Like stopping at a convenience store and seeing everyone in there for only a few minutes. The brain is vast and complicated, and varies from person to person.

I believe so. I think that it is actually people we seen but never paid attention to before. Like people in a crowd. You see faces but don't really pay attention because at that time they are not important.

I've always wondered that myself. I think they're just our imaginations palying tricks on us. Have you tried regression? I did it once and my dreams have been remarkably vivid ever since--people and places are extremely realisitic. you should try it. BTW--this is a great question--I never knew other people experienced this--you should start a club.

Wow...all my dream people are from my life or some TV show...and I hate it when you can't remember their face in the morning or see it clearly even in the dream....

I heard that they do exist, and while you're dreaming of them, they're dreaming of you too, and you are the stranger in their dreams...cool thought, huh?

Oh yes!...I'm sure my face is being used a hundred times on other people around the world, too. It's one big conspiracy!
