I don't see why not. A building is a building, is a building, is a building ... The worlds' tallest skyscraper, the Pentagon, the White house, Bill Gates house, a single story residential home, and a backyard storage shed are all buildings.

Are you asking this because you want it to be zoned for commercial use?
Everything that is built as a dwelling of some form is a building, ie: barn, storage shed, shop, house, apartment, bank, you get the idea.
If you want it to be zoned differently or if it is for tax purposes, the answer is yes!

I guess it is if somebody built it. Of course people build other things like fences. But I think a building is defined as something that has a roof and walls.

ummm... a house is a building; was it built? if you're talking taxes and such it's a building. If you're in USA it's a building. A building is something that was built. A treehouse is a building of sorts
