Why do women cheat?

I have read some answers on this, and it's always the mans fault. eg?
men cheat , because they are assholes, or women cheat, because their men are assholes??? can't a woman cheat just because she is a s1ut?

I accept that being a s1ut is not the only reason and that there may be many reasons for cheating, but most of the answers I have read elswhere on yahoo answers seem to always exonerate the woman, and blame the man. If he cheats, it's his fault. If she cheats, it's his fault.

Come on? why is that?

I have never ever had a woman cheat on me. I am asking this quastion to see why women seem to always blame men.

I am in a very happy and totally faithfull marriage of 16 years. Ima faithfull to my wife and she is totally faithfull to me. We work together all day and spend most of aour time together in the evening too, I would know if she was seeing anyone else. we always know where each other is, we love each other and trust each other totally.

OK, I shall close this in a moment. I have, pretty much, decided who the best answer is, but my version is this,

For a relationship to be wholely successful there needs to be a required balance between male and female energies, beyond this there should be a equitable and harmonious balance of physical, spiritual and emotional needs being met. This occurs when there is appropriate, loving and respectful communication.

If any of these elements is missing, or falls out of balance, then basic needs are no longer being met. When this occurs, one, or both partners will look to each other, and then to others as a way of meeting the needs. This is entirely natural, as we all need to have our needs met. That is why they are called needs after all.

The perception of how those needs get met (ie a s1utty, or a a$$hole way to meet them, or a mutually beneficial way) depends on how the individual communicates and acts. Men or women, it is merely seeking ways to meeting basic human needs.

I firmly believe that an affair is a symtom of a problem and you either need to face up to the issues in your relationship or leave the relationship. If a person just cheats because they enjoy sleeping aorund then maybe the problem is that they shouldn't be married in the first place

There are to many reasons why anyone would cheat and just because someone cheats does not make them a ****. They could be living in an unhappy marriage and crave attention, they may have an impotent husband, it may be spur of the moment and regretted the next day.
No matter who it is, man or women, neither should do it no matter what the reason or temptation. If you cant be faithful, then get out of the marriage/relationship, easy as that.

I did cheat on my husband once but that certainly does not make me a s**t.
I loved my husband but because of circumstances that are too long to go into here I put on weight. My husband hated this and started to take it out on me by constantly criticising me, making me feel useless and ugly. I felt so low that I needed someone to tell me how wonderful I was but was too low to have the strength to leave my husband. Instead I stupidly had an affair (after 18 yrs of being faithful) which did give me back my self confidence but also caused the end of my marriage once my husband found out.
I am now out of the marriage and affair but have a wonderful new man in my life and have no intention of being unfaithful again.
Basically, everyone on the street would think my ex was a fantastic man and would not understand how I could have an affair ... but unless you are there, you can never fully understand the underlying reason.
What I did was wrong and I accept that but when a woman has an affair then just think to yourself ..... there may be another reason other than her being a **** ....

Women who cheat are too weak to confront their relationship issues. If they are not getting what they want from their men emotionally, sexually, etc., it's an easy out, but only a temporary fix. Women who cheat are cowards.

Women cheat for the same reasons men do.
There are alot of reasons.
1: Boredom
2: Revenge
3: Because they can
4: To appreciate better the person you have at home
5: To decide that yea ... some one else can do it better than the person at home.
6: Boyfriends/Girlfriends make "love" , casuals "****" yes .. there is a BIG difference.

When I cheated on my boyfriend it was because I was bored, it made me appreciate the b/f more ... I discovered that I liked making love with him instead of just being coldly fucked by the "cheat".

Women cheat for the same reasons that guys cheat: boredom, bad sex, not feeling loved, wandering eye, high sex drive.... need I go on.

We can't say that one sex is worst than the other or that the opp sex forced us into something, that's just crap. People need to stand up and take responsiblity for their own actions and stop trying to pass the buck!!

This answer is from a woman's point of view... It's not always the man's fault. I've known women who have cheated on their hubby and/or boyfriend... & they were good guys!

That is the main reason they cheat, because they are sIuts. They will blame the man most of the time. They have know self control and want to screw everything they see. This applies to 99% of women. They are worthless!!

Women can be shallow,hurtful, and sometimes just hateful. It is too bad that people have to cheat at all.
