It could be said that it was both, it depends on your definition of what a doll is. Certainly they were turned into some sort of inanimate figure on the end of what is called by Piedmon a 'keychain'; but if you're thinking of a doll along the lines of 'Betsy Wetsy' or 'Raggedy Ann', they were not turned into dolls.

They are turned into keychains. I know of no screeshots.
