I thought a person only had one best friend? This is why they hold the title "BEST FRIEND". What type of Love? Do friends become lovers? Should your question simple be, can you love 2 people? I think a person you become to love is a friend first, lover second. If your heart is true to one person, you would not love another. Your attentions were not true! One person should be able to command your attention in the catergory of lover.
