Hi! I have searched people on the web in different countries and found many in Sweden where I live, one in Australia and 2 in USA. I have searched through telephone directories and search pages. Once I paid US Search 40 dollars to find a woman with a not so common name who was raised in a certain US state. They gave me 10 names and most of them were men. My old friend was not on the list. A few days before I tried myselves and got several houndreds names. Hopefully other companies gives better result.
One can also search their name at i.e. Yahoosearch and Google.
For USA: ussearch.com, lycospeoplesearch.com, bigbook.com, superpages.com, lookupusa.com, find-people.net, reunion.com, find.intelius.com. For international white pages you will find a list at www.worldwhitepages.com
You can also try the Salvation army.
