I am not female, so maybe my answer doesn't count, but real "Gangsters" in Canada are few and far between, and the ones that look and act like gangsters are usually wannabes or posers. Most of my female friends find that type of person abhorrent, and will maybe go through a phase of liking the "rebel without a clue" type, but when they find that that type can't put a roof over their head, or food in their belly, they usually smarten up pretty quickly.

I don't know. Canada is a very diverse country and every province is different. Like anywhere else in this world different girls are attracted to different things. I'm just curious where did you read this to? What newspaper actually printed that?
