Black men and women don't seem to respect one another, let alone like each other. Black marraiges seem to more prone to failures with the number one failure being infedelity. Most black women tear down their men and most black men view black women as either stupid sex objects or their mother (someone to take care of 'them")
Why is that?

Due to the way that Blacks were brought to the USA, they are still suffering from a dysfunctional inherent to their socio-economic standing in the USA. Often, children are raised in broken homes, and the Fathers have a tendency to be absent, so that Boys grow up without a positive role model, Girls grow up watching their Mothers work to support their children and hating the Men who left them, so it is a snow ball rolling down hill that I hope will come to an end soon. There is no real difference between people of African heritage and European heritage (or what have you) as that is only the surface. Underneath we are all the same and come from a common heritage, and all are brothers and sisters. I have viewed the same phenomena that you have, and I am saddened by this as they are not getting a fair shake at life because of it. Let's just keep on keepin' on and hopefully the next generation will do better. Peace little sister.

Society has a lot to do with how we view each other. Plus, the person who raised you and the environment you grew up in affects people's views on this.
I get to know a person, see how educated they are, I'm not looking for a college graduate, but i'm looking to see if they have a one track mind or not.
A man looking for someone like his mother may not be him looking for someone to take care of him, it may be him looking for someone who will be a good mother. Open your mind.

It's not a matter of race but a matter of genetic programming. With our big brains we have invented the idea of monogamy which is contrary to our natural human selves. We are dogs by nature and anything that goes against our nature causes stress. Stress causes conflict. Conflict produces resentment.

Relationships are what you make them: This is in any race. those that have failed is because one of the partners of both went in to it with the wrong ideas in mind when they met, they looked at lust instead of the possability of a loving relationship. thanks for asking.
