Well obviously if you've been there before then you don't need someone to help you. But New York is a large city, so you'll probably need someone to show/ help you around for a little while until you get used to it.

Personally, I'd find my way around as I don't know anyone there.

I always know where I am going.

Once, I asked the toll collector, and he told me "what the **** are you asking me for.

I asked a cop in New York, " Just keep ******* moving".

I kinda like the attitude that I encountered many times. Try waving 20's

map quest. yahoo directions, I can't even go to the store without doing some kind of search and then I still ask three people just in case. But I hate when I get three different answers.
