This is a very touchy subject!! So yes this is rather embrassing but I'm hoping that I'm not the only one with this problem. I haven't talked to my docter for one because he's a man and two because I'm way to embrassed that I'm the only patient with this. So anywho I get a little bit of this "white stuff" everyday in my underwear. It smells weird and it sometimes clear. I don't know what to do? I have a boyfriend and whenever were making out it, I sorta start getting "wet" with this "white stuff." If you have this problem or whatever it is or you know someone with it can you please let me know what they or you did to get this fixed, because it's really embrassing. Anybody with advice or tips PLEASE reply... thank-you!!!

Vaginal discharge is normal and varies during your menstrual cycle. Before ovulation (the release of the egg), there is A LOT of mucous produced, up to 30X more than after ovulation. It is also more watery and elastic during that phase of your cycle. You may want to wear panty liners during that time.

The things to be worried about include if the discharge has a yellow or green color, is clumpy like cottage cheese, or has a bad odor. If worried, see a doctor.

Different Types of Discharge

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

It sounds like discharge, well every woman has discharge, but noramlly we don't have them everyday, there should be a few days in a month's cycle when girls are dry, and then the period time there shouldn't be white discharge either.

If it has a weird smell, it maybe normal for some peole, but it maybe caused by distress or infection. Sometimes the infection does not need medical attention, but sometimes it does.

So talk to your doctor, don't be embarrassed, or change a lady Doctor, it's nothing to be ashamed of, every girl has some discharge.

I have a feeling yours is not anything serious, if the doctor tells you the same, don't worry too much, have plenty of sleep and rest, and the lest stress, keep a healthy routine will make it better.

The doctor told me that it is completely natural and eventhough I hate it she sais that she can't do anything about it. I think there is some medication for it but it will dry you completely, your nose, your mouth. And by the way I hate it but my husband loves it. Don't be embarrased about it, it's perfectly normal. I am 21 and have had that problem since I was around 17. If it bothers you just keep a box of Kleenex when you are having sex. Watch talk sex with sue on Oxygen at night. She answers that type of questions all the time.

It's normal to has a small amout of vaginal discharge everyday, i think that the amount is about a penny size a day, and about the "wetness" after making out, you were prolly turned on. It's not gross or anything, it's just natural. Any other questions just e-mail me

You didn't experience it the whole time you were on the IUD? Its very normal for women with an IUD to go thru the mucus change and no period. If it has no odor, you have no pain and havent switched sexual partners since your IUD was inserted(which is recommend you dont) I really wouldn't worry I have been checked, have had the same sexual partner and have it its actually very common with mirena users

Women normally have a discharge...as gross as that seems... And it can vary in color and consistency in different times of the month. Unless you are really experiencing something that causes you alarm, it's probably perfectly normal. If you are still worried, ask to meet with a woman doctor.

It's normal, color change is common from white to clear and varies through different stages of your menstral cycle. It happens when you get arroused like what you are saying with your boyfriend or if you are just very warm in that area, like if you sat with your legs croseed for a long time.

Wear pantyliners. What you have is a normal discharge, some women tend to have more than others. You really shouldn't be embarrassed to talk to your Doctor, they've heard and seen everything. If it's really bothering you, you must speak with him to just to make sure everything is okay.

UMM first you need to go see your doctor!!!!!!! sounds like you either have a yeast infection and or a sexually transmitted desease if your embraced to go see your family doctor go to a walk in clinic or to your local health department (strongly recommended) If you want to see if it is a yeast infection they have over the counter medication at any drug store use it and if it don't work you will have to go in a see somebody their is no reason to be embraced. Just think you have been living with this for 2 years what if it is a sexually transmitted deases and it is damaging you (it will do that ) you may not be able to have kids and if you already have kids you may not be able to have any more. Go get checked out and ease your mind.

Remember LOVE yourself because you only have one life.
