Celebrities are OK.Some of them (Angelina Jolie for example)really try to make the world better and give an amount of they're money in order to help the world. There are ordinary people though, who are real heroes.A professor for example is passing his knowledge to his students and tries to make them nicer people.Yet they are paid with a ridiculously low salary compairing to the daily salary of a famous footbal player who does nothing but kicking a ball. Moreover there are mothers-single or married-who try to do the best for their children under the most difficult circumstances. However everyone talks about ''famous moms'' and how ''painfully'' they bring up their children 'cause they have to play in a movie too.I think that all people are equally important.

Of Course they are important. Without them their will be no celebrities. To become a celebrity you must have fans. Certainly fans are day to day normal people. So they are very important

No. Real people *are* important. Celebrities are just fantasy figures, created for our amusement. They are not important at all.

Sure, anyone that is important to someone is certainly more important than celebrities with whom we have no emotional contact with.

i think regular people are as important as celebs if not more important. there are so many things regular people do that we don't get credit for. oh well. as long as there are celebs we will never be anything important.
