I had a really bad cd that was scratched up and skipping with some of the songs and I downloaded it into my computer and it sounded a lot better, and when I burned the cd with the music files I had no problems with skipping anymore

Are you serious? A COPY is simply a duplicate of what the original is. To quote " Mind of Mencia" on Comedy Central: "Deh deh deh!"

If it skips while recording, the skip will always be on the copy.

if you can get it to record..it wont skip but you will have a pop...most programs now have functions that record over it.
