If you currently have no faith in humanity, then at least you are conscious. Frankly, there are some decent humans out there, and quite a few humans that are decent occasionally. But on the whole, you are probably safer to feel a healthly skepticism towards humans than any sort of faith in them.

If it makes you feel any better, I spent $50 on bubble mix today.
I am just fluffing up the pillows for my couch. I am not allowed in the bed tonight.
My point, like I have one, ever.
I am blowing bubbles tommorrow morning, it will not restore my faith in humanity but it will enhance my faith in me.

ticket prices for concerts are down this summer, which means rock stars and their promoters are getting a bit less greedy and more people will be able to go to more shows. other that that, i cant think of much good going on in the world. as long as there are lawyers, humanity is doomed.

--Ann Frank wrote that in one of her last diary entries. If she could face what she was facing and still hold that belief, then I think I can face anything in my life, even living as I do in a Red State.

Your faith should not be put into humanity, but in yourself. Trust humanity to be human (good and bad).
