what ever happened to the westerns? the first 3 decades of tv was filled with them and everybody seemed to love them. i still watch them all in reruns.

The times they are a changing. The westerns are far and few in between. It seems they come served up as T.V. specials, spread out over a few days. It's a good thing there are reruns. I use to like to watch Bonanza, The Rifleman, The Texas Rangers, Roy Rodgers, Zorro and The Cisco Kid.

Sadly, they just aren't in "style" anymore. I sympathyze with you. I still love the old westerns like Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Rawhide, etc.

I know what u mean. Now the shows r primarily cop shows or medical shows...

I love Deadwood too. Too bad this is its final season.
