I wish i could give u good news. however they don't go away and you can spend lots of money trying new things that don't work. I have tried lots of things. Don't hide. Let your skin get air and sunshine.. It's all in your attitude. It is my understanding that stretch marks come to those of us with thin skin. However, I am not certain of this. It doesn't matter tho. the one thing that is important is that you don't let it stop you from wearing clothes that you like. don't waste time hiding yourself. there will b plenty of time for that when your old and saggy. enjoy your youthful body while you have it. most people wouldn't even notice those marks. you notice cuz it's your body. try to focus in on how nice clothes look on you. if u put on an outfit or swimsuit and u look in the mirror and like it then wear it. those marks will tan also. i know we should avoid tanning due to other health risks, however I think a little sunshine is a good thing . don't b ashamed !! You have more substance to you than stretch marks. Other women who point those out and make u feel icky are not good for you to be around either. please don't hide yourself and b self-consious. Those marks are carried by the majority of woman and men. good luck to you. stay healthy minded.

The only way to get rid of them is to surgically remove them..You can waste your money on everything else, (and theres lots of people waiting to take your money on this particular insecurity) but they wont do anything. Stretch marks usually fade with time to a silverish appearance. The best thing is great genetics or preventing them before they happen. Maybe you just grew up really fast and your skin wasnt ready for it

You probably grew to fast for your body.. i know that's what my doctor told me when i went into her office at 13 i was like what the heck i am 13 and at a normal weight have been my whole life... she told me that sometimes you grow to fast and it happens sucks ain't.. well at least they are faded and not red they really look nasty when they are red.. i never heard of getting them on the butt though. If you want to make them less visible as long as they are not red use coco butter on them that will make them smooth and a self tanner or go to a tanning salon. that's what i did. there is no way to get totally rid of them without surgery. and that is to drastic to do just to get rid of life's little natural problems.. it might seem very uncomfortable now but once you use the coco butter and get them smooth and get a tan then you will forget about them. i don't even think about mine anymore.

I have stretch marks too. I am thin, but I got them when I went through puberty. You can get laser surgery, but apparently even this does not get rid of them completely. The only thing I have heard that you can do is to rub some vitamin E oil on them everyday. It won't get rid of them completely, but it is meant to make them less noticable.

They can happen when you gain weight, even if you aren't overweight. Unfortunately you can't really get rid of them especially if they're already faded, but self-tanner works really well to cover them.

More then 80% of the people that you're hiding them from, probably have them themselves. Don't worry too much about it.
