unfortunately, i would say to not use yahoo. there search engine is inferior to google, especially their add-on software. their e-mail is also inferior to gmail and others, and they don't offer archiving. they also don't allow pop access for the free accounts.
their software is horrible, and anyone with firefox and outlook (or thunderbird) is far better off. trillian is a much better chat client, allowing you connect via a variety of media (aim, yahoo, msn, icq, irc)

It is a superior Internet product.
78% of Internet users think of Yahoo as a portal, a place to begin there Internet searches, have e-mail, IM, and now this, Yahoo Answers and so much more.
62% of Internet users consider Google a search engine and really nothing else.
Not only do I like Yahoo, I believe they have the potential to make ridiculous money and next week I'm going to look at acquiring some stock.
It is such an all around great service, that I'm starting to believe that anyone who puts it down or screams Google, AOL, MSN, etc.. is better is just a disgruntled stock holder of those opposing companies.

Yahoo is the best.. It has a sophisticated and user friendly email system and lots of other useful features, like Photos, Briefcase, free hosting, games, movies, kids, finance, shopping, yellow pages,travel,etc... and loads of more..

now that they have that nasty new mainpage design I'm wondering the same thing. I want my REAL Yahoo main page back, and am refusing to use the new, devolved, crappy main page!

thats too simple of a question, why wear name brand instead of off brand, why use dawny instead of sparkly dish soap, its just a matter of opinion, which one you like more.so,
